When Hope arrives at her new home, she is initially shy and hesitant. Zoe is patient with Hope, and the pair soon become forever friends.

The author’s use of nature imagery, such as fireflies twinkling like tiny stars, and the hum of bike wheels, creates a soothing and comforting narrative that will appeal to young readers and their caregivers alike.

The book’s gentle tone and positive message make it a wonderful read family read, especially for those who might be considering adopting a pet. Illustrator Olena Oprich’s beautiful artwork enhances the emotional impact of the story.
